Terms of Service
Last updated: 9 June 2026
1. Who we are
The Right Words ("we", "us", "our") operates the website therightwords.co.uk (the "Site") and provides an AI-assisted speech-writing service (the "Service"). The Service is operated from the United Kingdom. You can contact us at celimonryan@gmail.com.
2. Agreement to these terms
By using the Site or buying from us, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service. You confirm you are at least 18 years old.
3. The Service
We provide a tool that takes the information you enter and uses it, together with artificial intelligence, to generate a draft wedding speech that you can edit. The Service produces a starting draft intended to be personalised, reviewed and rehearsed by you before delivery.
4. What you provide
You are responsible for the information you enter. You agree that:
- The details you provide are yours to share, and sharing them does not break anyone's privacy or any agreement you have.
- You will not enter unlawful, defamatory, hateful, or infringing content.
- You will review and edit the output before using it, and you are responsible for what you ultimately say in your speech.
5. AI-generated content
The speech is generated by automated tools and may contain errors, inaccuracies, or phrasing that does not fit your situation. The output is a draft. We do not guarantee it will be accurate, suitable, or free of mistakes, and you must check and edit it yourself. The Service is provided for personal, non-commercial use.
6. Ownership of your speech
Once you have paid, the final speech you generate is yours to use for your personal purposes (delivering it at a wedding, sharing it with the couple, keeping a copy). We do not claim ownership of the words in your finished speech. We retain all rights in the Site, the underlying software, prompts, templates and systems that produce it.
7. Payment
Certain features (including unlocking the full speech) require a one-off payment of the price shown at checkout, in pounds sterling. Payment is processed by our payment provider, Stripe. We do not store your full card details. By paying, you authorise the charge shown at checkout.
8. Cancellation and refunds
Your statutory cancellation rights and our money-back guarantee are set out in our Refund Policy, which forms part of these Terms. Because the full speech is digital content delivered immediately, important conditions apply to the standard 14-day cancellation right. Please read the Refund Policy before you buy.
9. Acceptable use
You may not copy, resell, scrape, reverse-engineer, or build a competing product from the Site or its outputs, attempt to bypass the paywall, or misuse the Service in any way that disrupts it for others.
10. Availability
We aim to keep the Service available but do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may change, suspend, or withdraw features at any time.
11. Our liability
Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law (including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud). Subject to that:
- The Service is provided on an "as is" basis.
- We are not liable for how your speech is received, for any embarrassment, offence, or upset caused by content you chose to include or deliver, or for any indirect or consequential loss.
- Our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
12. Privacy
We handle your data in line with our Privacy Policy.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The version on the Site at the time you use it applies. Material changes will be reflected in the "last updated" date.
14. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and disputes are subject to the courts of England and Wales.
